The day after

Oh my blarg, could I have eaten more food yesterday?

Seems that it wasn’t just wishful thinking when I said that my face has been much clearer lately than usual. I had dinner on Thanksgiving with several family members that I haven’t seen in months. One of them said “well, aren’t you looking well. Have you done something different?” I just kind of laughed and told them that I had always been this attractive.

Later that night… well, technically I guess it was this morning… I met up with some friends who were in town from their various places around the country. Leave it up to those guys not to beat around the bush. My buddy Mark was so amazed by my skin that he gave me a big kiss on the cheek. Ah, what a bunch of sweet guys.

So, I think that my mission for the moment is to just continue doing what I’m doing.

Traditionally, winter is the time of year when my face gets really dry. At least this year it won’t be dry and pimply, right? I don’t really want to run the risk of that happening, so I went out and got some non-comedogenic moisturizer. It’s supposed to be free of all fats and oils, so it keeps your skin hydrated without clogging your pores. It would be so awesome to have a winter without cracked skin or acne!

Here’s to hoping that things continue going this well. I always expect ups as well as downs in life, but this is excellent.
